Today was a girls day out :) Greys and I spend the morning singing our hearts from 8 am to 12 pm.. God bless us that we are still able to speak.. well.. after that was work time for me with my assignments piling up day to day and the dateline creeps slowly towards me.. so i headed to uni to get some peace and quiet and fast internet.. and guess who tagged along? lol. Greys found the Monash Library so fascinating which i never thought much of it but i guess you never really appreciatte what u have somtimes.. so note to self.. Appreciatte things more.. *coughs*
And after an intense 4 hours.. it was time to FINALLY release some stress and energy with a good workout.. and i knew if i didn't have someone to drag me to the gym i wouldn't have the will to go.. it's amazing how things change.. there was the time where i couldn't even run 200 metres in secondary.. to the time where i was doing moderate exercises.. which then came the time where i'd hit the gym everyday.. doing 60 minutes or cardio before pumping the weights and machines.. then.... I just stopped... stopped.... EVERYthing.... and went to nothing... and now.. i'm barely trying to get m butt off the couch to go to the gym.. God bless my parents for being so generous and still pay the monthly bills of my unfrequent visits to the gym..
*i promise i'll improve mummy.... sniffles*
Ghetto ass ya'll! hahaha
After workout, there was only one thing on mine and Grey's mind.. FOOD... and lately i've been searching around for interesting places to eat.. and i came across this new restaurant called WHISK in Empire shopping gallery... It's the cutest little place with the cakes to die for =P
Oh and the best part.. Macarons :) so this little tiny thing the size of a 20 cent coin is priced at RM 2 per piece... and that is already considered quite cheap in Malaysia. i mean you should see the process behind making these tiny things.. and trust me when i say.. it's NOT easy.. my friends and I tried making it once.. the hard work is a killer and the pieces are soooo delicate that if u handle them wrongly, they just crack to pieces at the tip of your fingers..
so well i was reading about this restaurant and i found out they were well known for their macarons and Red Velvet Cake..and Carrot Cake which a LOVE... so that's where we headed.. and believe it or not.. we went there in the evening and the WHOLE red velvet cake was SOLD OUT! i mean seriously! it's that good??? i'm definitely going back to try again one day..
a really small place with a home-y feeling.. excuse the dude sitting there.. he didn't know he was ruining my picture.. lol
but let me get to the highlight of the day.. the macarons and the coffee :) MMmmm... those tiny little things were just perfect for me.. they melt in ur mouth like nothing else matters and the best part was.. they werent too sweet.. not the kind where u have to twitch ur eye after u take a bite.. but the kind u just pop ur eyes open and the person in front of u and go... MMmmm....
Chocolate, pandan and peanut butter macarons :)
MMmmm... the pandan was the best for me..
chocolate and peanut butter are tied for second place cause the taste was just sooooo subtle and smooth... Mmmm...
RM 6 well spent. haha

To add to that.. My cappucino was perfectly made.. the bitterness was not to harsh and the froth of milk was thick and smooth.. just the way i like it.. the rich taste and smell of the coffee showed how well the barista knew what he was doing.. so kudos to whoever made my coffee.. you made my day :)
anyways. it was a great day spent with greys. Much needed one. haha.
Mucho importante!! haha :) *LOves!*
