5th August. Pre-celebration

so we headed for my pre-celebration dinner at Betty's Midwest Kitchen cause my eldest bro which wasn't even his bday.. had craving for it.. lol. and guess who we saw there? haha ;-) thanks for the free desserts!! 

 

6th August :) A day to Remember 

I cant believe i finally turned 21!! lol. i mean seriously.. i'm legal.. for the first time i can do ANYTHING.. well almost anything.. and not get my IC checked.. or not having to feel guilty.. hmmmm.... WHEEEEee... lol.. anyways.. i thought this year seemed kinda depressing with so many ppl gone.. i didn't feel like a celebration at all.. but... SOMEONE.. had to change all that.. haha. Thanks dear for the surprise :)

well a bunch of my donkey friends got together in the morning as Mr.A dragged me out of bed to go for lunch.. he asked where i wanted to eat last week.. and i was majorly craving sashimi so the first place that came to my mind was Zanmai.. i dont know why but the sushi there is just so super addictive.. lol. so the whole week i was looking forward to sushi.. and at 11.00am we were happily on the way when he "kononnya" got a call from Mr. Nathan saying he has to pass something to him.. he innocently asks me, "Dear... can we stop by uni for awhile... so so sorry..." and since i was half asleep i was like sure.. lol

In i walk to the cafeteria to a bunch of Donkeys with a cake.. *tears* so super sweet.. haha.. sorry guys if i was kinda mute.. was just too stunned and half asleep and overwhelmed.. It was really nice of u guys..thanks k! :)

A few of us then headed to Zanmai to satisfy my cravings. lol. but unfortunately stupid Zanmai was stupidly packed and they stupidly informed us they'd be able to get us a table but stupidly couldnt.. lol so we headed to Shogun :):) for a better and more satisfying celebration :):) haha
and omg.. i havent eaten so much in SOOO long... but it was super awesome :) heehee

can u see my macha ice cream here!! heehee *loves* haha.. it was fun watching th sri lankan eat sushi for the first time. lol. and the rest of them piling on the pounds with me.. haha.. we then had nothing else to do so we headed to the CC after that.. yes.. i volunteered to go there.. dont ask me why.. lol.. and yes.. i played AOE for the first time.. total FML.. Age of Empires.. i'm sorry guys.. but i'm gonna say it again.. BORING.. lol.. i need some action! need some shooting!! lol..

time flies. it doesn't tick.

It's July... wait.. it's the END of July.. damn it.. where did the year go?... so few months have passed.. The Musical Concert of Love was a blast and My visit to Perth was the highlight of my holiday.. Eating where no one cares how u look like and practically living on chocolates and bacon is like Heaven.. lol.. and for the first time i''ve experienced Winter this cold.. i mean.. 0 and -1 Degrees is the worst is can get for me.. Any lower and bye bye Dear Baby Jane.. lol.. but yeah.. Love it there. i love the small towns where ppl are so nice and friendly and i forgot how great you feel when ppl just greet u down the streets with a smile or a friendly conversation.. without having to worry if this guy or lady is gonna grab my purse and run.. or pull out a "parang" and mug me.. so yeah.. it's great how i can walk out of the house alone and explore the neighbourhood... walk to the mall and back.. then my aunt asked me, "so how about living here?"... and i thought.. hell yeah! sure!.. but i can't imagine a life without midnight visits to the mamak... or shopping till 11pm... or being able to go out for dinner at 9pm.. Life is fun in Malaysia.. we just need to make it Safer.. oh welllll.... Back to uni for me.. a new beginning.. i'm starting the new semester with my WHOLE mech engineering group gone.. so we'll see how it goes.. at least i got U :)

Today Greys, God Sis, Oi and I went to visit the newest addition to our clan.. Mr Connor :) he's sooooo adorably cute with the hairiest head and pointiest elf ears :) haha.. there's something about babies that make u go totally Gagaaaa.. (no.. not lady gaga =S ) but yes.. the way they smile.. the way they yawn and stretch and cry... omgggg... *heart melts* i love babiesss... just when they are young and cuddly and adorable.. once they get to that killer stage... you're sooo dead.. we used to call my baby cousin "The Terrorist".. mostly cause he would run around the house with his gun.. including beating the shit out of me.. lol.. but back to the point.. babies... :)

starvation before satisfaction.. i had a feeling~

Hey world. ok sorry i've been missing for quite a bit lately.. i've always made it to clicking "new post" on blogger.. then staring at the page for 5 seconds then logging off.. its not that i have nothing to blog or talk about.. trust me.. i can go on for as long as blogger has a word count limit... hmm does it? never tried before.. lol.. anyway... so what happened?..

1. Two days before my last exam.. i had a feeling.. it wasn't gonna end well.. exams Never end well for me.. well.. i was sitting in the hall studying when my parents were leaving to visit my grandfather in the hospital.. for those that didn't know.. my kong kong was suffering 3rd stage Prostate cancer and he was going through a rough time.. a man who was once a Chief Police Officer during the hardest times of our nation.. dealing with communists and terrorists... was struggling to conquer the one demon that would not leave his life.. Cancer... his body was weakening and over a year and a half.. i watch him battle the disease.. both succeeding and failing as he went through treatment after treatment.. Chemo is a Bitch. i tell u that one...
so there i was watching my parents get ready to leave the house. two days to my exam.. that was the only thing on my mind.. then i said, "Ma.. wait. i wanna come along.." and i grabbed the book in front of me, my handbag and left...

i had a feeling...

that night.. i lost my kong kong.. Prostate Cancer is a reality and it hits men of all ages.. I pray that patients will have the courage and strength to push through..

kong kong.. I Love You so much and i miss you. 

and i'm so happy that you're with God now and You dont have to suffer anymore. I'll see you there :)

2. The Musical Concert of Love went fantastic!

Though there were plenty of hiccups.. 

it still went well and a Praise God for being able to sing with my friends and new friends we made :) 

U know singing brings joy to me.. dont know why..
